You will be responsible for preparing account analysis and reconciliation, management reporting, assisting in the accounting function of overseas companies, compilation of budget/forecast, handling taxation and audit matters and taking part in ad hoc projects.

Gammon Construction, through its subsidiary Lambeth Associates, is a leader in real world engineering for construction at every step in project delivery from concept and detailed design of major structures to complex construction methodolody and temporary works at the delivery end of the process.
We have a substantial secured workload in Hong Kong and Singapore and we are looking ahead to further growth in the years to come. To enhance our capability, therefore, we are seeking to employ engineers to join our established team of design professionals.
Based in our head office in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for providing design support for tenders and for live projects. The range of work handled in the office includes design and build structures, alternative designs and major temporary works on a wide range of projects encompassing buildings, bridges, underground structures, tunnels and foundations.

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent;

At least 4 years' relevant experience in the design of civil works, foundations or building structures, and preferably MHKIE, MICE or MIStructE or equivalent.
Note: Candidates with more experience will also be considered for Project Engineer or Senior Engineer positions.

You will station at the Site Office in Tuen Mun and assist the Senior Public Relations Officer in dealing with public relations matters including:
- Handling public enquiries and complaints;
- Preparing press materials;
- Attending public consultation forums;
- Liaising with members of District Council and attending their meetings.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Communication or relevant disciplines;
- At least 5 years' working experience preferably from Public Relations Agency;
- Well-versed in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Execellent interpersonal skills;

| Senior Planning Engineer - Hong Kong & Macau (Ref:HK/BDG/J5201/181/08/ec) |

You should be a self-motivated experienced construction professional required to work on high-value building construction developments in Hong Kong and Macau. You should have the flexibility of approach and experience to apply the construction planning discipline a project, and are required to take up the following responsibilities:

Develop the tender / project master programme;

Prepare detailed construction / working programmes for various trades / packages and overall project;
-
Prepare outline method statements;
- Liaise with subcontractors and consultants to ensure that detailed works package programmes are in compliance with the master programme;
- Monitor site progress, prepare short-term programmes and update the master programme, with particular attention to any changes in critical path activities;
- Prepare, update and monitor various working schedules such as Materials Procrement Schedule, Subcontract Award Schedule etc.;
- Identify changes and impact assessment, and work with the team to provide optimum solution for the Works;
- Assist Commercial team to develop any programme to facilitate variation recovery;
- Assist and prepare management / progress reports.
Requirements

Degree or above in Building Engineering or equivalent;

At least 8 years' relevant experience on site and in the construction planning discipline;

Broad planning-and-engineering-related knowledge and experience in computer-aided project management techniques (MS Project & Primavera);

Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
